Role:                            HR Officer

Hours:                         37.5 hours per week

Type of contract:       Permanent

Salary:                          £20,996 per annum

We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join our team. This generalist role incorporates all aspects of the employee life cycle, and will ensure the department runs efficiently; working with the HR Consultant to deliver HR advice and guidance to line managers across all site locations.

This is a fast-paced business so you’ll need to be self-motivated and able to adapt to situations that present themselves on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role with a full working knowledge of generalist HR.

Candidates must be flexible to travel to other sites when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Consultant with general HR queries and advice to line managers
  • Provide HR support in disciplinaries, grievances, sickness meetings, capability meetings etc.
  • Support the HR Consultant delivering coaching and learning sessions for Managers
  • Maintain and provide statistical and management information
  • Ensure the HR department is providing an excellent service to the business

Skills and Experience

  • CIPD Qualified
  • Degree qualified or a HR equivalent level 
  • Have an up to date and working knowledge of HR best practice and a thorough understanding of practical employment law
  • A minimum of 3 years HR experience
  • A positive, friendly, flexible, and capable manner, able to build relationships quickly
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organisational and computer skills including Word, Excel and Power Point

We are looking to recruit a Site Lead Officer at our Eaton Wood Medical Centre.

To cover shifts ranging from Monday to Friday 8.00am – 8.00pm.

MMP are seeking a professional to join our team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Site Lead Officer to provide leadership and management support to the site.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the site meets all key national, local and contractual requirements (including Public Health targets, Clinical targets, Key Performance Indicators, Statutory Regulations and CQC requirements).

The Site Lead Officer is responsible for coordinating, managing and developing all staff at the site working with the appointed Senior Regional Officers on planning and development of the managed sites.

Experience of managing a team together with excellent organisational and IT skills is essential. Previous experience of working within healthcare together with a working knowledge of System One would be an advantage although full training will be given.

Midlands Medical Partnership (MMP) is a group partnership which provides NHS GP services to over 65,000 patients, over 10 surgeries across Birmingham.

We are looking for enthusiastic & highly motivated Practice Nurses to join our friendly practice team providing high quality care to our patients.

You will be working alongside a senior Practice Nurse and an HCA, as well as GPs, reception and administration support staff.

MMP has a very supportive Practice Nurse network across all our sites with regular nurse meetings and an active in-house education programme.

We are looking to recruit the right individuals with at least one year’s experience in general practice. Someone who is confident in working independently yet is able to work collaboratively with other members of the primary care team.

You should have experience of carrying out the full range of practice nurse duties, including childhood immunisations & cervical screening & will be expected to work to templates to ensure that the practice retains high achievement in QOF & Enhanced services.

Professional development is actively encouraged.

Midlands Medical Partnership (MMP) is a Birmingham super-partnership currently caring for 65,000 Birmingham & Solihull CCG patients across North and Central Birmingham operating out of 10 sites. The partnership was established in April 2009 and continues to grow as a single integrated primary care provider, alongside collaborative working with other similar organisations in our region as part of its strategic forward view.
