Role:                                     Paramedic Practitioner

If so, MMP is the right team for you! We are currently looking for a highly motivated Paramedic Practitioner to join us on a full time basis.

Midlands Medical Partnership (MMP) is a Birmingham super-partnership currently caring for 65,000 Birmingham & Solihull CCG patients across North and Central Birmingham operating out of 10 sites. The partnership was established in April 2009 and continues to grow as a single integrated primary care provider, alongside collaborative working with other similar organisations in our region as part of its strategic forward view.

We aim to ensure our services and functions operate in the most efficient way, meaning clinicians can focus on their core role and delivering a high standard of patient care.

This dynamic partnership with a team of over 200 clinicians and staff is managed by a single executive board, with centralised organisational functions, strong leadership and governance structures. This is all delivered whilst maintaining a patient centred, individual approach at each of our sites.

The successful candidate will work as part of the MMP Clinical team to use your advanced clinical skills to provide education to service users, promoting self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment. As well as assess, diagnose, treat or signpost patients/ service users (who are triaged through to you from the Clinical Hub) with undifferentiated or undiagnosed condition relating to minor illness or minor injury.

In addition, you will contribute to reductions in hospital admissions and readmissions by identifying and pro-actively supporting patients to provide education to help aid self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment. 

We are looking for a full time Paramedic Practitioner, who is enthusiastic and motivated to participate in a model of patient care.  You will have fully accredited clinical skills qualifications, and have current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.  You will be part of a superb team and benefit from close supervision and support on clinical queries.

The positions will be based at All Saints Medical Centre.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, highly organised individual with previous medical secretarial experience to undertake this very demanding role within MMP at Eaton Wood Medical Centre.

This post is to provide an efficient, secretarial and administrative support service. It is essential that you have an excellent knowledge of medical terminology, are a team player and have significant experience working as a medical secretary or personal assistant. You must also be proficient in audio typing, and have excellent computer skills.

Role:                            Receptionist

Location:                    Eaton Wood Medical Centre

We are currently recruiting for 3 Receptionist/Admin staff members to work at Eaton Wood Medical Centre for either 30, 26 or 24 hours per week.

To cover shifts ranging from 07.30am until 6.30pm: Monday to Friday.

Working patterns as below:

30 hours per week – Tues 08.00-18.30, Wed 08.00-18.30 & Thu 08.00-18.30.

26 hours per week – Wed 08.00-18.30, Thu 08.00-14.00 & Fri 08.00-18.30

24 hours per week – Mon 08.00-18.30, Wed 07.30-15.00 & Thu 07.30-15.00

Experience is preferred although it is not essential as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills: be well organised, excellent communications skills and must be able to work flexible hours.

This includes providing extra help to manage long-term conditions, advice for those on multiple medicines, better access to health checks and treating patients with more complex conditions.
In addition, you will contribute to reductions in medicine related hospital admissions and readmissions by supporting patients to get the best outcomes from their medicines and identifying and addressing medicines related issues. The successful candidate will create an interface with community and hospital pharmacy colleagues and develop referral processes between primary care professionals.
We are looking for a full time Clinical Pharmacist, who is enthusiastic and motivated to participate in a model of patient care. You will have full Pharmacist qualifications. You will be part of a superb team and benefit from close supervision and support on clinical queries.
