Role:                            Call Handler 

 Type of contract:      Temporary 6 month fixed term x 1, 16 hours pw

                                        Permanent role x 1, 15 hours pw

 Location:                    Eaton Wood Medical Centre

 The successful applicant will be expected to work: shifts between 8.00am – 8.00pm Monday – Friday.

Reporting to the Clinical Contact Hub Officer, you will be responsible for providing an effective call handling service, dealing with enquiries from medical staff, patients and the general public, recording patient information and making appointments.

Working in a fast-paced environment and handling confidential matters, you will have effective communication skills, excellent attention to detail, a professional and courteous manner and ability to work under pressure.

The ideal candidate will be computer literate and adaptable in using different software.

Effective numeracy and literacy (GCSE Maths & English) is essential. Previous call handling experience is desirable.

Midlands Medical Partnership (MMP) is a Birmingham super-partnership currently caring for 67,000 Birmingham & Solihull CCG patients across North and Central Birmingham operating out of 10 sites. The partnership was established in April 2009 and continues to grow as a single integrated primary care provider, alongside collaborative working with other similar organisations in our region as part of its strategic forward view.

We aim to ensure our services and functions operate in the most efficient way, meaning clinicians can focus on their core role and delivering a high standard of patient care.

This dynamic partnership with a team of over 200 clinicians and staff is managed by a single executive board, with centralised organisational functions, strong leadership and governance structures. This is all delivered whilst maintaining a patient centred, individual approach at each of our sites.

The successful candidate will work as part of the MMP Clinical team to use your advanced clinical skills to provide education to service users, promoting self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment. As well as assess, diagnose, treat or signpost patients/ service users (who are triaged through to you from the Clinical Hub) with undifferentiated or undiagnosed condition relating to minor illness or minor injury

In addition, you will contribute to reductions in hospital admissions and readmissions by identifying and pro-actively supporting patients to provide education to help aid self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment. 

We are looking for a full time Paramedic Practitioners, who are enthusiastic and motivated to participate in a model of patient care.  You will have fully accredited clinical skills qualifications, and have current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.  You will be part of a superb team and benefit from close supervision and support on clinical queries.

The positions will be based at  All Saints Medical Centre.

Role:                             Site Lead Officer

Location:                      Stratford House Surgery

We are looking to recruit a Site Lead Officer at our Stratford House Surgery.

To cover shifts ranging from Monday to Friday 8.00am – 8.00pm, Saturday & Sunday 8.00am -12.00noon.

MMP are seeking a professional to join our team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Site Lead Officer to provide leadership and management support to the site.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the site meets all key national, local and contractual requirements (including Public Health targets, Clinical targets, Key Performance Indicators, Statutory Regulations and CQC requirements).

The Site Lead Officer is responsible for coordinating, managing and developing all staff at the site working with the appointed Senior Regional Officers on planning and development of the managed sites.

Experience of managing a team together with excellent organisational and IT skills is essential. Previous experience of working within healthcare together with a working knowledge of System One would be an advantage although full training will be given.
